The Cottagers’ Association members have authorized the executive committee to conduct more advanced water analysis starting in 2010. Samples will be taken from both the river and lake and analyzed according to a more complete set of parameters including:

Major Cations -Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium and Sodium
Major Anions – Chloride and Sulphate
Nutrients – Total Phosphorus, Nitrate, Nitrite, Ammonium and Total Nitrogen
Carbon – Dissolved Inorganic Carbon and Dissolved Organic Carbon
Others – pH, alkalinity, conductivity and turbidity
